A Beloved Bequest

A College of Arts and Sciences graduate, Pamela Brock (’74), who went by Pam, loved to read, her younger brother Charles Goss, and numbers. While her first job was as an accountant at Sears, Pam eventually worked for more than 40 years as a top accountant for a federally owned electric utility corporation.

When Charles, whom Pam called “kiddo,” was a child, she would bring him to UTC football games on Chamberlain Field to experience the thrill of the former stadium in the heart of UTC’s current campus.

Pam’s love of reading led her to include the UTC Library in her estate plan, which Charles helped fulfill after her passing in 2022. Initially, Pam’s gift will support student assistant leadership positions in each library area.
